Heeheehee. This made me giggle on the inside. (And the outside too, but more muffled). Who wouldn't fall in love with an adorable kilt-wearing doofus like Touchstone?

Love this! I just read Sabriel last night. Loved it.
I love your details, she pulled him by the ears, which I found hilarious.

:Excited: SQUEE! That WAS the most squee worthy part of the book. :giggle: I LOVE that series!

Why is it illegal to park in a handicapped parking space but its ok to use a handicapped toilet?
Why do we teach kids that violence is not the answer and then have them read about wars in school that solved America's problems?

I didn't like your Touchstones before - he didn't fit with my imaginations - and now all of a sudden I'm all *SQUEEE!* Curse you for changing my mind.

I love that series.

There are two ways to improve in life: to depend on one's intelligence... or the others' stupidity.

I'm ashamed to admit I can't identify the exact scene. I guess I'll just have to read the entire series again. :)
Not particularly bothered by that thought, as Garth Nix is such a great writer. He's interesting to listen to as well; I went to a talk he gave at the local library once.

Though I can't ID the scene, 'Sabriel' still has one of my absolute favourite lines: Touchstone's declaration of love for Sabriel while they're on the truck on their way to kill the head dead dude. I'm a guy so I can't openly admit to 'squee', but GOOD LORD was I struck by how much I want the chance to use it. Or hear it, which would also be nice. Okay so I may have squeed just a bit, but only quietly. Such a simple line, so honest, so earnest, so hopeful, so humble :aww:

Oh yeah, and I really love your art of Sabriel, it's really spot on. The HP pics are excellent too. It's all good, really. :ahoy:
