Heeheehee. This made me giggle on the inside. (And the outside too, but more muffled). Who wouldn't fall in love with an adorable kilt-wearing doofus like Touchstone?

Why is it illegal to park in a handicapped parking space but its ok to use a handicapped toilet?
Why do we teach kids that violence is not the answer and then have them read about wars in school that solved America's problems?
I'm ashamed to admit I can't identify the exact scene. I guess I'll just have to read the entire series again.
Not particularly bothered by that thought, as Garth Nix is such a great writer. He's interesting to listen to as well; I went to a talk he gave at the local library once.
Though I can't ID the scene, 'Sabriel' still has one of my absolute favourite lines: Touchstone's declaration of love for Sabriel while they're on the truck on their way to kill the head dead dude. I'm a guy so I can't openly admit to 'squee', but GOOD LORD was I struck by how much I want the chance to use it. Or hear it, which would also be nice. Okay so I may have squeed just a bit, but only quietly. Such a simple line, so honest, so earnest, so hopeful, so humble
Oh yeah, and I really love your art of Sabriel, it's really spot on. The HP pics are excellent too. It's all good, really.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

There are two ways to improve in life: to depend on one's intelligence... or the others' stupidity.
